I’ve had a bunch of ditzy “blonde moments” this past week.

Incident 1:  The Foot Accident

I injured my foot.  In a very very stupid way.  I got up to study around 4 AM, and I guess I had been sleeping on my leg because it was all numb.  Only I was too sleepy to notice.  I just wanted to hurry and turn off my alarm clock so it wouldn’t wake up my housemates.  So because my leg was not ready for weight to be put on it since blood was not yet flowing to it, I collapsed on my foot.  All my weight on my right foot.  I don’t know if I broke a blood vessel or just somehow hit my foot against the table, but it swelled up like crazy.  And when the bruise formed, it went all the way from the arch of my foot to the bottom corner of my ankle. 

Incident 2:  The Broken Computer

I broke my laptop.  Also in a very very stupid ditzy way.  I was eating an apple, and I was too lazy to put it down.  Then I wanted to bring my computer downstairs to listen to music.  So….my apple was in my left hand, and I held my laptop and the plug in my right hand.  I made it almost all the way downstairs, and then when I was on the second or third stair to the bottom, my computer slipped out of my right hand and fell down the stairs to the floor. The wireless card got jammed in the computer.  I managed to turn on the computer only to discover that the mousepad and the volume weren’t working.  Then it shut off by itself, and I couldn’t turn it on again.

At least I get a new computer now.  It’s been 4 years.  I wanted to wait until after this school year, but oh well.  What’s done is done.
