I went to the optometrist today, and he told me that I have the beginnings of the same problem my dad has.
Something about my retina and something about a layer over my eye thinning. So someday, if I don’t take care of my eyes, there might be a punctured air hole or something. And then I could go blind.
My dad had to get some sort of air bubble injected into his eye.
I don’t want a big needle being injected into my eye!!!! But I don’t want to go blind either!!!
It’s scary. What if someday, I’ll never ever be able to read again? That’s like….just plain torture.
I’m gonna eat lots of carrots now. And take lots of vitamins.

my mom gets shots into her eye too almost every month……….it doesn’t seem to help much for her case. =(

my last comment wasn’t really supposed to be depressing….I just wanted to make a ………statement? Anyway, you’re still young….you could probably take precautions to prevent it and stuff… and I’m not that intellingent so I can’t really talk/type in conherent sentences.
