I just came back from Canada last Friday night.  Too much nature.  But it was really pretty.  I don’t have time for an elaborate post with pictures right now though.  Maybe later.

I am applying to schools.  It’s taking forever and draining the money from my bank account.

I still have to take the GRE and the DAT in September…so studying for that right now.

I’m trying to see if I have time to take a class this quarter.  I don’t think so at this point, so maybe winter quarter.

I got a job as a receptionist at a Nutrition and Colon Hydrotherapy office.  Going through training this week.  Doesn’t pay much, but I don’t care about the money.  The important thing is that I get experience, and it’s at a nutrition office, which is good because I’m applying to grad school for nutrition and food science.

And…book recommendation!!!!  The Secret Life of Bees –It’s a WONDERFUL book!!!  Great symbolism, deals with racism issues in the South during 1964, the whole Civil Rights Movement.  I love the author’s writing style and imagery.  The way she uses bees and Mother Mary as the major symbols is WAY awesome.  If I only had time for a whole book review….sigh.
