God named me Unicorn
said I was one of a kind
sent me into this Garden of Chaos
to heal the sick and the blind
the humans admire my magic and purity
but refuse to change their ways
they dance to the beat of carnal lust
gluttonous hearts drunk on pride
I feel their pain
their loneliness
I was made to soak in their burdens
and so I hold the weight
of their hurt in my bones
my body blisters and breaks from my tears
yet still they do not know
so I’m driven to extinction
