SEOUL, SOUTH KOREA: new york city but better

If I was not Korean in my past life then I pray the universe lets me be in my next. 

When I was a little girl, my mom used to bring home Korean soap operas dubbed in our language. Pretty funny when I think about it but back then, life seemed alright as long as I was able to watch with my mom. We had tapes upon tapes upon tapes of every early 2000s K-drama I can think of. One of my favorite K-dramas was called "Tomato"; great cast but even greater soundtrack! It became a dream of mine to visit South Korea someday to experience the Seoul life and in 2014, I would get that chance. 

I have so many lovely things to say about the city of Seoul. It really is a suitable name in every sense. The city is beautiful during the day with its lush gardens and well-thought architecture, and even more beautiful at night as the abundance of neon lights brighten up the sky. 

If I could choose between New York City and Seoul, my two favorite cities on Earth, I'd pick Seoul every time.
